Grow Money. Grow Power. Grow You.
Empowering communities through financial literacy And economic growth
Crown Up is a nonprofit organization empowering communities through financial education, practical tools, and opportunities to build wealth, support entrepreneurship, and make money make sense.
Our Mission
Make Money Make Sense for Our Community
Crown Up is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we rely on the support of individuals, businesses, and foundations who believe in financial empowerment and economic justice.
Your donation will enable us to:
- Provide cost-free resources along with the necessary tools and opportunities to help you grow and succeed
- Offer scholarships to students of our Tax Academy who cannot afford to pay the course fees
- Develop materials and provide resources for financial literacy workshops
- Develop and expand youth programs
- Reach out and educate the community
Every dollar invested in financial education generates exponential returns, not only for individuals but also for entire communities!
At our core, we believe that financial knowledge is power. When people gain the knowledge and skills to earn money, save money, grow money, and strategically utilize money, they are not only improving their own lives, they are improving the lives of those around them.
This isn’t just tax prep. This is economic justice in action.
Our Programs

Why This Work Matters
The racial wealth gap in America is no accident. It is the result of systemic exclusion from education, homeownership, business ownership, and wealth-building for generations of Black and Brown people.
Crown Up is changing that story.
We give people the knowledge, skills, and community support they need to build real wealth. Not just money, but also power, opportunity, and true autonomy.
Being financially literate means being free. We can’t be taken advantage of by unfair systems, predatory lenders, or financial gatekeepers when our community is financially empowered. We start businesses, buy homes, pay for school, and leave behind a legacy.
Even if financial literacy was not part of your foundation, a new legacy can start here today.
